Stamford Memorial Post 9179 is actively working to re-establish the VFW Auxiliary in Stamford, Texas.

The VFW Auxiliary is one of the nation’s oldest veteran support organizations and is dedicated to serving veterans, military families, and local communities through volunteerism, patriotism, youth activities, community service, and support programs.

Our future Auxiliary will help support:
• Veterans and military families
• Community service projects
• Patriotic and memorial events
• Youth scholarship and educational programs
• Hospital and veteran outreach efforts
• Local volunteer activities and fundraising events

We are currently seeking individuals interested in becoming founding charter members of the re-established Auxiliary.

Eligibility generally includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren of veterans who are eligible for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), including step, adopted, and half-family relationships.
