Stamford Memorial Post 9179 – Current Priorities & Community Focus

Stamford Memorial Post 9179 is committed to rebuilding and strengthening our post through leadership, volunteerism, veteran support, and community involvement.

Current areas of focus include:

• Re-establishing the VFW Auxiliary
• Expanding veteran and community outreach
• Supporting Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen youth scholarship programs
• Improving post facilities and future community-use areas
• Developing future opportunities for veteran fellowship and local events
• Strengthening partnerships within Stamford and surrounding communities
• Increasing volunteer involvement and membership participation

Our goal is to create a strong, active, and community-focused VFW post that honors veterans while continuing to serve future generations.
